The Lull Before the Storm

Life is a lot like the ocean. It can trick you into believing that every hurricane has died down and it’s time for some good weather. However, you never know when the tranquil, placid waters will turn to be the worst storm ever seen.
Sometimes life is all about the calm before the storm, that little moment of short lived , disillusioning security.

Then again, what kind of life is it if you aren’t reaching beyond the perimeters of comfort?
What’s life without a little off-the-edge survival, without a few risks?

All we see is the peacock’s grace when it opens up its feathers. But whoever said the one who has everything is the unluckiest, said it right.
His eyes show his fear, his fear of falling from public eye, fear of losing his one asset, his plume.

Beauty is a blessing. Vanity, a bane.
